<![CDATA[<p>How do I check my Mail on a phone or with a software program like Outlook or Mac Mail?</p><p><p></p>
<p>Typically, to set-up an email program or phone to access your mail, you'll need the following information:</p>
<ul>
<li>Your email address</li>
<li>Your password</li>
<li>The server address</li>
<li>The protocol you want to use (IMAP is recommended, POP can be used but is not recommended)</li>
<li>The encryption method and related Port</li>
</ul>
<p>To find this information, login to your Mail at <a href="http://mail.live.com">http://mail.roosevelt.edu</a></p>
<p>Click the drop-down arrow next to the question mark.</p>

<p>In the window that pops up after you click About, scroll down and look for the Server name.</p>

<p>Your server name may be different from what is shown above. Also note the Port and Encryption settings, too. Use these settings when you go through the setup screens on your program/phone.</p>
